For Release Upon Receipt - Tuesday, August 28, 2018
Solutions with impact.
That will be the focus of the sixth Barbados International Conference on Higher Education to be held on October 28-31, 2018 at The Hilton Barbados. The conference is being organized by the Higher Education Development Unit in the Ministry of Education, Technical and Vocational Training.
Under the theme – Modern Education and Economic Stimulation: Innovation, Praxis and Sustainability, the conference intends to bring a wide array of disciplines together to learn, share and discuss the economic impact of education and its strong correlation to a country’s living standards.
Abstracts for the conference are being accepted on a rolling basis with preference given to early submissions. Proposals that provide practical, research-based emerging best practices across the education landscape; account for varying viewpoints by multiple presenters on a specific issue(s); facilitate interaction and dialogue among delegates; and demonstrate real-world application in a solution-focused environment are strongly encouraged.
Abstracts should not exceed 200 words and be accompanied by a biography of about 75 words.
